Kindness Parties
RCFES is excited to welcome all our families for Kindness Parties on Friday February 13, 2026 from 3 to 3:30 pm! Our amazing room parents have been hard at work organizing and planning these special celebrations.

In order to avoid check in lines, please complete this form by NO LATER THAN Thursday, February 12 at 4:00 p.m. We look forward to engaging and connecting with our families as we celebrate kindness together. Let’s make it a day filled with joy and meaningful connections. All families are welcome!
Black History Month: Living History Museum
Sign up to help with the Living History Museum!
The Rock Creek Forest Tigers invite you to volunteer your time as a supportive aids to their living museum. We have over 140 students signed up this year!
Volunteers will help students research, write and prepare their performances in February. We know that your time is at a premium, but we hope that this invitation will empower you to come in and volunteer. Volunteer hours are as follows:
- February 4 and 5 (9:10-9:40)
- February 11 and 12 (9:10-9:40)
- February 18 and 19 (9:10-9:40)
- February 25 and 26 (9:10-9:40)

5th Grade Promotion Fundraiser
Candygrams for Sale!
Send a candygram or sponsor candygrams for a whole classroom to support the 5th grade! For $2 per student or $50 per classroom, the 5th graders will write notes of kindness and encouragement complete with a sweet treat for all the students at Rock Creek Forest. With 34 classrooms and 719 kids, we have a lot of notes to write and a pretty big fundraising goal! You can buy one, two, ten or a whole classroom of candy grams:
5th graders will also sell candy grams before school during Kindness Week in front of the school on February 9, 10 and 11. If you have any questions, reach out to the 5th grade promotion committee at 5th.grade.promotion@rcfpta.org.
