- Movie Night: If you’d like to help bring our families together for a fun evening at RCF to enjoy a movie, we’d love your assistance in organizing this event. Responsibilities may include selecting the film, securing the license, arranging equipment, and coordinating refreshments. If you’re interested in taking on the role of Chair for this event, please let us know in the comments!
- Tiger News Network (TNN): Be the adult supporting RCF students in producing the TNN video, a weekly rundown of student news at school. This will be a lunchtime enrichment activity during the school day.
- Community Dinners: Help us give families a well-deserved night off from cooking while bringing our school community closer together! By volunteering to organize our community dinners, you'll create an evening where families can relax, connect, and enjoy great food without the stress. We need event leads and home chefs 3x: Fall, Winter, and Spring.
- Holiday Gift Drive: Coordinate with the counseling team to determine number of families in need; create wish lists/suggested items to donate; package items to be delivered to families. Delivery in early December, work throughout the fall to plan and collect items.

- *Dine Out Fundraisers: We’re seeking two enthusiastic leads to organize monthly Dine Outs for the RCF PTA! It’s a simple and effective way to fundraise while supporting local businesses!

- Amharic Translation: Join the roster of volunteers to help interpret and/or translate from English to Amharic on the days you are available or an on-call basis.

- *Update Website: We’re looking for someone to help keep the RCF PTA website updated regularly! You’ll receive the content that needs to be added, and your main responsibility will be ensuring the website stays current and fresh. You’ll work closely with the PTA President to make it all happen.

- Book Swap: Manage swap of gently used books donated by RCF families for RCF students, typically in the Spring.

- We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make our Spring Fair a success! From manning inflatables to running crafts and games stations, there are plenty of ways to get involved and bring joy to our school community. Join us in creating a fun and memorable event for everyone!
Committee Volunteers:
- Lost & Found Committee: Organize and photograph Lost & Found items and share so families can see and claim items.
- Wellness Committee: This group will be taking the lead on Eat the Rainbow week in June 2025! You’ll have the opportunity to organize a fun week featuring a variety of colorful fruits and vegetables. Plus, you’ll collaborate with the counseling team to ensure the event fits nicely with the school’s activities.
- Staff Appreciation Committee: This year, we're excited to express our appreciation for our teachers throughout the entire year! We're looking for a volunteer who can lend a hand once a month to help us show our teachers just how much they mean to the RCF community. In addition to planning and organizing activities for Teacher Appreciation Week—like bagels and coffee, catered lunches, and creating videos and cards from kids and families—your support would make a big difference.
- Culture Committee: A parent volunteer sits on the school's culture committee with teachers and staff to help plan in-school cultural programming throughout the year. PTA lead: Scott Trudell
- Inclusivity Committee: A parent volunteer sits on the school's inclusivity committee with teachers and staff to help plan inclusivity programming throughout the year.
Fundraising Volunteers:
- *Fundraising - Dine Out: We’re seeking two enthusiastic leads to organize monthly Dine Outs for the RCF PTA! Your efforts will build strong community partnerships that support our school throughout the year!
- Spiritwear Sales: The SpiritWear Committee sells fun clothing and swag at most major RCFES events and we are always looking for volunteers!

- Our committee helps turn RCF families' everyday shopping into extra cash for the school! Currently, our program consists of donations from two local businesses: Snider's Super Foods (which donates 1% from all collected receipt totals to RCF), and Corner Market (which donates 3% of collected receipt totals). We also participate in the digital Box Tops for Education program.
- Volunteers are in charge of informing the greater RCF community of the program, sending periodic reminders to turn in receipts, and totalling receipts and submitting required paperwork to Snider's and Corner Market. Volunteers also inform the community of how they may participate in the Box Tops program, and seek out additional Money for Nothing partnerships.
