Staff Appreciation Week
Staff Appreciation Week is coming up May 4-8, and we’ve already started celebrating our RCF staff.

We need YOU to make it extra special!
Our RCF teachers and staff are the absolute best, and we need your support in making this week a success. Please consider whether you can donate time or treasure or something homemade — as a community, this week is kind of like our Super Bowl!
Here are the ways you can help:
- Contribute a dish to our potluck lunch or homemade cookies for teachers! Sign up link coming soon.
- Chalking the Walk: Show up Sunday, May 3rd to decorate the sidewalk outside the school with messages of appreciation
- Help stock our staff lounge! Purchase from this link and it will be delivered to RCF.
- Sign up to create and donate a Teacher Gift Basket for our raffle by April 24th. These are themed prizes that contain goodies of your choosing like teas, puzzles, lotions, etc. LINK
- Donate a $25 gift card to a store of your choosing. Drop off at the front office or send the ecard to fundraising@rcfpta.org by April 24th
You can donate to the PTA at any time to help underwrite activities like Teacher Breakfast, Coffee Cart, and more!
Book Swap June 8th
RCF’s annual book swap is Monday, June 8. Our goal is for each student to take home at least two books for summer reading. To achieve this goal, we need your donations of gently used PreK through grade 5 books (English or Spanish).
RCF’s annual book swap is Monday, June 8. Our goal is for each student to take home at least two books for summer reading. To achieve this goal, we need your donations of gently used PreK through grade 5 books (English or Spanish).
There is a donation bin set up inside the front doors of the school. Please send books with your students or drop them off during school hours. We are most in need of upper grade (3rd-5th) books, and graphic novels are always the most popular. A list of popular titles and series is attached, but we will gladly take any elementary-aged books.
Don’t have books to donate? Consider buying one or two the next time you’re at a thrift store or used bookstore (Friends of the Library is amazing!) or request donations on your neighborhood listserv. Let’s make sure all our RCF Tigers have summer reading materials!
Graduating Fifth Grade Families
Seeking Fifth Grade Bundle Donations
It’s hard to believe that our fifth graders are in the home stretch of their last year at RCF! The next few months will be filled with preparation for the great events that are planned for our children.
Our goal is to raise enough money to provide every fifth grader with the entire package. We are offering a Fifth Grade Bundle, including the following:
❏ A yearbook
❏ A class T-shirt (to be worn as a grade at numerous events)
❏ A panoramic class photo
❏ The Fifth Grade End of the Year Celebration
❏ The Promotion Reception
Purchasing this bundle is voluntary and any amount is appreciated! A donation of fifty dollars ($50) will cover ALL of these activities.
To learn more and/or purchase a bundle, visit: rcfpta.org/fifth-grade-promotion/.
Message from the Silver Creek Middle School PTA
Welcome to the Silver Creek Middle School community! As you and your students prepare for middle school this fall, we invite you to get involved and stay connected through the Silver Creek PTSA.
We are starting to plan for the 2026–2027 school year, and we need parent and caregiver volunteers to help make Silver Creek the special experience that it is for all our students. No previous experience is needed, and no amount of help is too small. We know everyone is busy.
Please take two minutes to fill out this form if you’d like to get involved!
Joining the PTSA is a great way to meet other parents and get to know Silver Creek. We look forward to welcoming you to Silver Creek next year!
Please email Maggie Carrick with any questions, at mcarrick311@gmail.com.
