Now is the perfect time to check the Lost & Found for missing jackets, sweaters, hats, gloves, and lunchboxes. Our volunteers have updated all photos. Items not claimed by December 20th will be donated.

2025 Read-A-Thon Results
Great job reading and raising money for PTA this year! For our 14th annual Read-a-thon, Rock Creek Forest students read a total of 116,363 minutes and raised $16,271. Amazing work to all who participated! Look for an email from the Read-a-thon Committee announcing all the prize winners.
Did you know that Read-a-thon is RCF’s most important fundraiser? Without it, we couldn’t have our most cherished Tiger traditions! If you missed the fundraising window for this event, you can donate to the RCF PTA anytime.

Save Your Receipts!
Don’t forget to save your receipts from Snider’s and Corner Market – and you can gather receipts from friends, neighbors, and family, too! When you are next at school, you (or your child) can simply drop off the receipts in the green box outside the RCF front office. These businesses donate 1% of totals (from Snider’s) and 3% (from Corner Market).
- Pro tip: set your Corner Market receipts to be emailed automatically to rcfmoneyfornothing@gmail.com, so you never have to think about it again.
- You can also scan receipts from any grocery store and earn money for RCF through the Box Tops for Education app!

- Donate online or by cash or check. Make checks payable to Rock Creek Forest Parent Teacher Association and mail to: 8330 Grubb Rd, Chevy Chase, MD 20815 or drop off at the Rock Creek Forest Elementary School Front Office.
